“I Stay In Love” è il quarto singolo estratto dall’ultimo album di Mariah Carey “E=MC²”.

Si tratta della solita ballata in salsa R&b che la cantante ci propone e a dirla tutta la canzone somiglia moltissimo al suo vecchio successo “We Belong Together“.

Il video, molto “povero”, è stato girato da Nick Cannon, marito di Mariah. Insomma : si resta in famiglia! Ciò è accaduto perchè forse si dispone di pochi mezzi economici o magari perchè la casa discografica crede che questo pezzo non possa avere tanto successo. Questo non ci è dato saperlo: quello di cui siamo convinti è che per l’ennesima volta le etichette discografiche organizzano male la promozione degli album degli artisti, e molto spesso a farne le spese sono proprio mostri sacri della musica come , appunto, la nostra Mariah Carey, la quale, dopo i periodi d’oro di “The Emantipation Of Mimi”, ritorna a floppare e non per colpa sua.
