Tratto dall'album This Is Me...Then il singolo Jenny From The Block, che vede la partecipazione di Styles & Jadakiss.

Si è parlato parecchio di questo clip perché accanto alla bellissima cantante e attrice portoricana appare Ben Affleck.

Le immagini mostrano i due innamorati in diversi momenti intimi della loro vita, quella che i paparazzi continuano a spiare e a rendere pubblica.

Nel video, Jennifer, appare nuda ed in topless. Nel quotatissimo singolo "Jenny from the block", che nel suo ostentare a forza l'appartenenza alla strada, nel suo ripeterci continuamente che lei é la stessa ragazza di sempre, quella del quartiere, che non é cambiata nonostante i soldi e la fama, mostra invece una sorta di inguaribile "senso di colpa" che la Lopez molto probabilmente sente nei confronti di chi con lei prendeva quella famosa metro numero 6. Un testo retorico che sembra non accattare la realtà, ovvero semplicemente il fatto che ottenere successo a livello mondiale inevitabilmente ti distacca dalla vita di chi rimane nel Bronx (non c'é altra storia, inutile urlare al mondo il contrario). Allo stesso tempo é però uno dei brani migliori dell'album, uno di quei pezzi ad hoc che al primo ascolto ti entrano nella testa, grazie alle rime di Styles e Jadakiss (The Lox) che restituisco credibilità al tema, ma soprattutto grazie al potentissimo campione usato nella base - già ripreso da Krs One e Herbie Mann - che ci riporta in un attimo alla splendida "Watch out now" dei Beatnuts e quindi in ogni club degno di tale nome dove si programmi black music, dove nemmeno tre anni fa quel pezzo ha fatto sudare di brutto sulle piste da ballo estive di mezzo mondo (tra l'altro nella stessa stagione in cui la Lopez esordiva come cantante con "If you had my love")

Il video di Jennifer Lopez è un autentico tributo al celebre film "Flashdance", un vero cult degli anni 80.
"I'm glad" è una canzone che Jennifer ha dedicato al suo uomo, di quel periodo, Ben Affleck,
il cui video è stato realizzato da David LaChapelle.
Proprio nel video Jennifer ripropone alcune delle famose sequenze del film Flashdance.
La storia personale della Lopez ha numerose attinenze con quella raccontata nel film dato che sia la cantante portoricana che Alex, la protagonista del film, coltivano un grande sogno e lottano per realizzarlo.
Sembra che la Lopez il suo sogno lo stia concretizzando alla grande!

I'm Real è il singolo conclusivo dell'album J.LO del 2001 che intanto a causa del suo enorme successo, basti pensare che è stato il 6° cd più venduto nel 2001, fu ripubblicato ben 4 volte con varie bonus tracks. Questo singolo anche arriva al #1 negli USA,#4 UK e #7 nella classifica mondiale.

Le due canzoni del CD, ovvero "I'm Real" (Io sono autentica) e "Aint'It Funny" (Non è divertente), vennero considerate da alcuni magazine americani come le sue canzoni più riuscite e più belle perché rifiutarono il carattere tendenzilamente commerciale della musica di J.Lo, dandogli uno stile più sentimentale e sincero.

Tuttavia Jennifer fu convinta dalla sua casa discografica, la Murder Inc., a remixare in stile rap i due brani e a cambiargli il testo, facendo così snaturare completamente il loro messaggio originario.
